PASCAL’s focal points in Luanda, Huambo and Malanje have carried out a series of trainings on participatory governance and open government. The second module of these trainings was recently held in the municipalities of Icolo e Bengo, Cacuso, Cachiungo, Bailundo and the commune of Chinhama, involving municipal and communal CACs, as well as members of the CTGOM.
Among those present at the training sessions were participants from various sectors, including the National Police, religious bodies (priests and pastors), traditional leaders (Sobas), businesspeople, farmers and political representatives, who showed great interest in the topics covered and said they were now better prepared to contribute significantly to the debates and future actions of this forum.
