
José Tiago, Focal Point in Luanda, and Apolónia Gabriel, actively participated in training and awareness-raising sessions on Decentralization and Administrative Deconcentration in the Light of Angolan Jurisprudence, promoting an essential exchange between Residents’ Committees, Civic Associations and representatives of the Sambizanga District Administration.
Opened by the local administrator, the event underlined the importance of decentralization and the engagement of civil society in building a more inclusive and representative form of governance.
They also held a meeting with the Legal Office of Icolo e Bengo, focused on raising awareness of the importance of participation and open government. The head of the office expressed his commitment to bringing PASCAL’s initiatives to a growing number of communities in the municipality. Through these interactions, PASCAL continues to strengthen support and information networks so that the messages of citizenship and participation reach more and more people.
Another moment was the formal presentation of the Civil Society Organizations (CSO) Assistant to the Administrator of the Estalagem Urban District. During the meeting, dates were set for future training and activities, guaranteeing the continuity of training and strengthening the role of CSOs in local processes.
