Local authorities and PASCAL plan a 2025 of achievements.
Our Focal Point in Benguela, Gabriel Romeu, kicked off this year’s activities in the municipality of Cubal, where he strengthened interaction with local authorities, including the Municipal Administrator. During the meeting, the achievements of the previous year were highlighted and the challenges for 2025 were discussed, emphasizing the importance of the Administration’s participation in the regional workshop on Participatory Budgeting, which will be held in Huambo.
During the meeting, the new local authorities were introduced, such as the Secretary General, the Director of GEPE and the Director of the Legal Office, with whom we will work directly. The Municipal Administrator assured us that he will keep PASCAL informed about the inauguration of the new municipal administrators, as a result of the recent administrative reorganization.
