PASCAL’s focal point in Benguela, Gabriel Romeu, carried out a series of actions in the municipalities of Cubal and Catumbela. His activities included visits to the communal administrations of Cubal, with a focus on the commune of Capupa, as well as planning meetings and training for the residents’ committees and CTGOM on the importance of citizen participation in public life in both municipalities.
During his stay in Cubal, Gabriel Romeu was welcomed by the local administrator and his team, presented as the focal point of the project and provided training for a variety of groups.
In Catumbela, Gabriel met with local CSOs to discuss concerns and suggestions for improving spaces for citizen participation and involvement.
The activities in both municipalities were successfully concluded, thus promoting greater citizen involvement and participation in public life.
