Delegação angolana na CPVA

The Angolan delegation, made up of the PASCAL team, government representatives and civil society organizations, has been on a study visit to Lithuania since 22 April, as part of PASCAL, a project funded by the European Union. The aim is to exchange experiences in governance between Angola and Lithuania.

The second day of the mission was marked by learning and interaction, starting with a visit to the Central Project Management Agency (CPVA), a key organization in the implementation of PASCAL and responsible for organizing the Study Visit.

At CPVA, the delegation delved into the inner workings of the agency and its projects, highlighting the exchange of experiences between Angola and Lithuania, sharing challenges and useful solutions for both nations.

The morning was enriched by the presentation of Umberto Masi, President of the Lithuanian Youth Council, who addressed the vital role of young people in policy-making and decision-making, highlighting how the involvement of young people can bring fresh and innovative perspectives to contemporary challenges.

The agenda included a visit to the municipality of Trakai, where there was an open dialogue with the local Youth Council, discussing the interests of young people and the process of electing youth delegates, as well as the composition of the municipal council and administration, providing a unique insight into local decisions.
