Training for more active and efficient citizen participation.
On November 13, Focal Point Jenuíno Roque conducted an essential training session with the Secretariat of the Municipal Consultation and Concertation Council (CMAC) in the municipality of Cacuso.
This training is part of PASCAL’s commitment to train local leaders to be able to effectively organize and lead the last ordinary sessions of the Municipal Councils for Social Consultation and Concertation (CMAC and CMCS), in line with Official Letter 160/19 from the Ministry of Territorial Administration (MAT), which determines that these sessions should be held in November.
The training was attended by six members, including two women. Through these training sessions, PASCAL, which is funded by the European Union, is strengthening its role in promoting participatory governance in Angola, helping to give local leaders the tools they need to respond to the challenges facing their communities.
