The PASCAL Focal Point in Huambo, Maria de Lassalete, played a crucial role in supporting the CTGOM teams from Bailundo and Catchiungo in the preparatory process for the Municipal Consultation Forum for Contributions to the General State Budget (OGE).
Considering CTGOM’s responsibility in managing citizens’ resources, it is essential that this body presents clear and transparent information about the administration of these resources. The project portfolio has been meticulously prepared and the forum is scheduled for Tuesday, July 23, in Bailundo.
In Catchiungo, the Citizen Consultation Forum will be facilitated by the NGO APODES, with which contact has already been made to ensure that CTGOM presents a detailed balance of municipal funds.
Furthermore, in collaboration with the Administration technicians who organize the event, we have influenced the inclusion of all relevant stakeholders, such as residents’ committees, members of the CAC, traditional authorities and individuals with prestige in the communities.
These initiatives reflect PASCAL’s ongoing commitment to promoting citizen participation and good governance through the empowerment and strengthening of local structures.
