During its study visit to Spain, PASCAL, the European Union-funded project in Angola, held a highly relevant technical meeting with the team from the Spanish Ministry of Territorial Policy (MPT). Chaired by the Secretary General for Legal Affairs and International Cooperation, the main focus of the meeting was to exchange experiences on decentralization.

The aim was to get a closer look at the experiences and good practices in the Spanish decentralization process, addressing governance mechanisms between the different levels of the administration, as well as discussing the challenges in coordination and dialogue between the parties.

The initiative aims to strengthen the knowledge and capacity of the Angolan authorities, providing a solid basis for implementing similar processes in Angola. This international collaboration is key to promoting a more efficient and participatory administration in both countries.
