Joana de Matos, focal point of PASCAL (a project funded by the European Union) in Malanje, was again in the municipality of Cacuso, where she worked with the Residents’ Council and Residents’ Commissions, represented by their coordinators.
The meeting had 24 participants, 3 of whom were women. The event was opened by Dr. Maria Garcia, section head of the Residents’ Committees support area
The meeting aimed to assess the level of organization of the Residents’ Committees, the forms of articulation and identify training needs. The results were quite satisfactory, indicating that the next meeting of technical and methodological support to the Residents’ Council will be on July 4th, followed by a training on Participation and Open Governments on July 15th.
