PASCAL and Catete Municipal Administration: A partnership for local development

Building together a more participatory and inclusive future for the communities of Catete.

Together with the Municipal Administration of Catete, we took an important step towards collaboration for local development with the session to adjust the Activity Plan, held on February 10th. The aim of this meeting was to align actions that promote participatory governance and the strengthening of local capacities.

The session was attended by Dr. Anderson Pedro, Administrator of the Municipality of Catete, and the Deputy Municipal Administrator for the Political and Social Sector, accompanied by senior staff from the administration’s office. During the meeting, the specific needs of the community were discussed, including the training of technicians in participatory governance, the strengthening of residents’ committees, the creation of the CTGOM and the structuring of the CAC Secretariat.

This meeting marks the start of a solid partnership aimed at implementing concrete actions in areas that are essential for improving the quality of life of the communities.

With the active participation of six people, including one woman, the meeting was a reflection of the commitment to inclusion and community empowerment.
