The PASCAL Focal Point in Malanje, Joana de Matos, held two essential meetings in the municipality of Cacuso.
The first meeting was with the Municipal Administrator of Cacuso, focused on reflecting on the organization and functioning of the articulation spaces. During this meeting, the issues addressed during the training were discussed, as well as the baseline results. A new meeting was agreed on for the week of the 13th to the 17th to plan the election assembly for the new CTGOM and the Technical Committee, in addition to monitoring the meeting with traditional authorities.
The second meeting was with the CTGOM of Cacuso and addressed topics such as the election of the new CTGOM, the Technical Monitoring Committee and accountability. For the first time, it was possible to bring together 8 of the 11 members representing the residents’ committees, and spreadsheets were shared for planning activities and reporting. This moment also served to reflect on the preparation of the assembly that will guide the election of the new CTGOM.
These meetings aim to reinforce PASCAL’s work in Cacuso.
