
PASCAL promotes strategic meetings and strengthens partnership with local authorities.
In a series of actions aimed at strengthening participatory governance and social inclusion, PASCAL advances in Malanje. Through Focal Point Jenuíno Roque and Civil Society Assistant Custódia Lopes, the project promotes essential initiatives to ensure that civil society effectively participates in local decisions.
The activities began with a collaborative session with the local consortium at Caritas, where the responsibilities of the Civil Society Assistant and the objectives of PASCAL were discussed. In a second moment, Jenuíno Roque and the coordination of the CTGOM of Malanje held a meeting to analyze the ongoing projects and define the renewal of mandates for January 2025. During this meeting, the presence of the General Management of PASCAL was confirmed to reinforce plans and ensure the sustainability of future actions.
In an audience with the vice-governor of Malanje, Franco Mufinda, the PASCAL board also presented the next stages of the project, including regional workshops on Participatory Budgeting (PB) and the international conference on municipal networks. On that occasion, the Vice-Governor requested the expansion of the project, given its positive impact and the need to support the new Political Administrative Division of Angola.
PASCAL reaffirms its commitment to a more participatory and resilient Angola, where citizens and governments work together towards sustainable and inclusive development.
