Benguela CSO Focal Point and Assistant provide training at Praia do Bebé

O PASCAL, committed to advancing participatory local governance, carried out a significant action in the commune of Praia do Bebé, in Benguela.

On October 16, the Focal Point, Gabriel Romeu, and the Civil Society Support Assistant, Inácio Tomas, met with the Communal Administrator to present the assistant and reinforce the continuity of the training of the Consultation and Concertation Councils (CACs) in the region.

The session highlighted the importance of CACs as essential spaces for participation, following the guidelines of Presidential Decree 224/18, with a focus on promoting more inclusive governance geared towards the real needs of the community. This interaction reaffirms our commitment to strengthening civil society, contributing to a more integrated and participatory community.
