
Training cycle ends successfully, promoting engagement and good practices among the communities of Huíla.
In a joint action between PASCAL and the Municipal Administration of Lubango, the training cycle aimed at the Residents’ Committees and Councils of the communes of Huíla and Hoque, and the neighborhoods of Valódia, Joaquim Kapango, Patrice Lumumba, 14 de Abril and Tchioco was completed.
The training, held in the auditorium of the 11 de Novembro School Complex, highlighted essential topics such as Open Government, Participation and the Participation Ladder. Committee coordinators had an enriching time to discuss and exchange knowledge about participatory practices and the fundamental tasks of Residents’ Committees, in accordance with Law 7/16.
The session was opened by the administrator of the Patrice Lumumba neighborhood, Mr. Isidro, and was facilitated by technician António Neto and the PASCAL Focal Point in Huíla, Manuel das Mangas.
