The first panel highlighted institutional communication, presenting the institutional video and the PASCAL Citizenship Guide. In the second panel, we explored “Citizen Participation in Local Governance” with inspiring lectures from renowned experts. Sérgio Calundungo (representative of Civil Society) discussed the challenges and opportunities of Civil Society Organizations, while Édmio Fernandes (Administrator for the Training area of ENAPP) addressed public spaces for citizen participation.

After an enriching question and answer session, we moved on to the third panel, where the winning consortia for the implementation of projects subsidized by PASCAL in Huambo (Rede Mulher Angola), Benguela (Mosaiko) and Malanje (Caritas de Malanje) were presented.

On the last point of the agenda, we launched the PASCAL website, a crucial communication tool between the different actors of the project. According to the project manager at FIIAPP, the page will be operational from January 2024.
