Malanje welcomes NJILA project subsidized by PASCAL

Within the scope of the PASCAL Grants, the winning consortium in the Province of Malanje, held this Monday, February 26, the public presentation workshop of the project called NJILA (path), which aims to support the strengthening of the participation of Civil Society in Local Governance in Malanje.

The opening ceremony was presided over by the Vice-Governor for the Political, Social and Economic Sector of Malanje, Franco Mufinda, and was attended by the representative of MAT, Ana Augusta, the Director of Caritas of Malanje, Adão António Adão, and the Manager from Pascal in Lithuania, Ugnè Chmeliauskaite.

 

Representatives of Municipal Administrations, Civil Society Organizations, Churches and youth groups were also present.

NJILA has proven to be a gateway that opens to facilitate dialogue, as well as the participation of civil society in decision-making processes in that province.

 

 

The NJILA project is the result of a Consortium of three (3) organizations from the Province of Malanje, namely CARITAS DE ANGOLA (Coordinator), ASASP-Angolan Association for the Salvation of the People and CRUZ VERMELHA DE ANGOLA and will be implemented in five (5) Municipalities, namely Kalandula, Cacuso, Malanje, Mucari and Kiwaba Nzoji.
