PASCAL held a workshop on participation and open government on March 14 in the amphitheater of the Pitágoras de Samos Private Polytechnic Institute, located in the Kikuxi Urban District. The event was attended by the District Administrator, Paula Contreiras and her deputy for the Technical area.
José Tiago, Focal Point of PASCAL, was the speaker, introducing the expository methodology to facilitate understanding of the importance of participation in political life and the direction of public affairs, supported by the CRA in its articles 52 and 53. During the event, it was stated that participation strengthens institutions and guarantees good governance, promoting economic, social and political change.
