From May 7 to 9, Huambo received an EU monitoring visit, carried out by consultant Mariana Chambel. During the visit, the different groups involved in the project’s actions were heard.
The meeting began with the PASCAL Focal Point, Maria de Lassalete, and included meetings with the organizations benefiting from the grants that implement actions in the municipalities in the fields of gender and youth, the Municipal Administrator of Bailundo, Irineu Sacaála, the local CTGOM, the Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in the province, and an event promoted by the consortium with Community-Based Organizations (OCB).
To conclude the visit, meetings were held with members of the Bailundo Community Consultation and Consultation Committee (CAC), as well as with journalists from Huambo who participated in the training sessions promoted by PASCAL. This interaction was essential to identify areas for improvement and ensure the effectiveness of the project’s actions.
