Youth Forum promotes exchange between PASCAL beneficiaries and European Union ambassadors.
Within the scope of the Provincial Youth Forum in Malanje, the “KUTUNGA” initiative was presented, implemented by the winning consortium of the PASCAL grants, composed of Cáritas, Associação Angolana Salvadora dos Povos (ASASP) and the Community Development and Information Center (CEDIC) .
During the event, an exchange on local participation and open government was held with women beneficiaries of the KUTUNGA project training programme. In this forum, the population had the opportunity to interact with local councillors and ambassadors of the European Union, discussing issues of citizen participation and the challenges faced by local communities.
The KUTUNGA Project aims to strengthen local capacities and promote social inclusion by facilitating the effective participation of citizens in governance processes. This exchange provided a space for dialogue and sharing of experiences, contributing to the development of strategies that encourage transparency and collaboration between civil society and government authorities.
