
As part of the consultation process to gather contributions in the preparation of the project portfolio for 2025, the members of the Technical Committee for the Management of the Municipal Participatory Budget (CTGOM-Viana) met in the Urban District of Zango.
This working meeting was attended by distinguished personalities, including: Dr. Wilson, Deputy Director for Financial Area, Manuel António, Technician at GEPE Viana and José Tiago, Focal Point at PASCAL
The meeting, which took place in the Zango Urban District, had as its main objective to collect from the residents’ committees the expenditure proposals for the year 2025. PASCAL supports the participatory methodology to improve the collection of projects that focus on the needs of the communities. .
During the meeting, residents’ committee members took the opportunity to discuss several pressing issues. The district administration was asked to provide information on the challenges faced by residents of Vila Pacífica, such as the lack of essential services such as energy and water. For example, the central area of Vila Pacífica currently depends on a fountain for its water supply, highlighting the need for improvements in local infrastructure.
The district administration also highlighted the importance of coordination at the district level to improve the well-being of communities, highlighting the desire of residents to actively participate in decision-making processes that affect their lives.
