Civil Society Assistant presented to Lubango municipal administration

We held a strategic meeting to introduce Daniel Chissumba, Civil Society Support Assistant, to the Lubango municipal administration.

Chaired by Dr. Helga Chaves, deputy municipal administrator for the political, social and communities area, the meeting stood out for its dialogue on PASCAL’s upcoming activities and the importance of collaboration between civil society and the local administration to strengthen citizen participation.

The meeting was attended by local authorities, including the secretary-general of the administration and various directors representing the social and communication areas. Manuel das Mangas, Focal Point, formally introduced Daniel Chissumba as Civil Society Support Assistant, reinforcing the project’s commitment to sustainable development and good governance. During the hearing, Dr. Helga Chaves suggested a stocktaking meeting at the end of the year to assess the progress of the actions implemented and identify new opportunities for collaboration. The initiative was well received by all those present, highlighting the importance of continuous dialogue and strengthening ties with the local administration.
