Training addresses Law 07/16 and strengthens community participation.
We carried out important training for the Residents’ Committees (CM) of Catumbela Sede Commune, highlighting the essential role of these groups in local governance. Based on Law 07/16, the training deepened the concepts, objectives, structures and attributions of the Residents’ Committees, promoting a better understanding of their responsibilities in community life.Out of 32 Residents’ Commissions, 9 representatives took part, including 2 women, facing the challenge of reconciling schedules due to their daily work. The session was opened by the Secretary of the Residents’ Commissions, while the training was facilitated by the Focal Point, Gabriel Romeu and PASCAL’s CSO Assistant, Inácio Tomás.
The training reaffirms our commitment to strengthening active citizenship and the role of communities in local decision-making processes, promoting greater inclusion and impact in their realities.
