The Articulation Space facilitates dialog and strengthens the preparation of themes for the CMACs.
Malanje’s Traditional Authorities have taken an important step towards community integration by electing a coordinator for the newly created Articulation Space. Made up of five members, the space aims to facilitate the discussion of issues relevant to the communities, contributing to the organization of the Municipal Consultation and Concertation Councils (CMAC).
This space arose as a result of the recommendations of the training on Participation and Open Government, promoted by PASCAL, and aims to strengthen the preparation and presentation of relevant topics at CMACs.
The event was attended by 41 Traditional Authorities, including four women. During the meeting, it became clear how important it is to consolidate this space as a channel for active dialog between communities, promoting local solutions and increasing the influence of Traditional Authorities in decision-making processes.
The initiative, which was facilitated by our Focal Point, Jenuíno Roque, reflects PASCAL’s commitment to strengthening citizen participation and empowering communities to lead debates on their own needs.
This is yet another example of the project’s positive impact in promoting Open Government and building efficient dialog structures.
