PASCAL promotes strategic coordination with CAC and CSOs in the municipality of Catumbela.
We carried out two impact actions in the municipality of Catumbela, strengthening citizen participation and promoting a more collaborative relationship between Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and the Local Administration.
During a working session with the Director of the Legal Office and a member of the CAC secretariat, the results of the last Councils were analyzed and the next meetings planned, according to letter 160/19. The preparation of the exchange of experiences mission to Huíla province was also discussed, reinforcing the sharing of good practices.
In the second action, the Focal Point and the CSO Assistant met with local representatives to reflect on the role of CSOs in participatory governance. The meeting covered the presentation of the Assistant for Civil Society, the analysis of relations with the Administration and the definition of next steps. The CSOs acknowledged progress, but stressed the importance of networking to overcome the challenges identified.
