Connecting ideas to transform realities in local governance

Encontro PASCAL
Exchanging experiences and taking stock of activities, with a focus on learning and collaboration to build a more inclusive and participatory Angola.

With the aim of aligning strategies and sharing lessons learned, we are holding a meeting to take stock of activities and exchange experiences in Huíla province.

The activity, which takes place at the Serra da Chela Hotel, runs from December 2 to 6 and brings together 55 participants. However, the opening ceremony, held today, was attended by the PASCAL team and representatives from FIIAPP and CPMA.

The meeting focuses on strengthening local interventions, reviewing the activities carried out during the year and promoting discussions on the challenges faced. Over the next few days, the participants will address issues such as monitoring and training-action in the pilot municipalities, as well as planning future actions.

The event reflects our commitment to promoting decentralization and inclusive governance, strengthening citizen participation in Angola. Funded by the European Union, the project reaffirms its role in empowering local administrations and creating bridges of collaboration for a more participatory future.
