Strengthening partnerships to transform local governance in Huambo

Cooperation between PASCAL and GEPE strengthens training plans and exchange of experiences.

In Huambo, PASCAL’s Focal Point, Maria de Lassalete, met with the new management of the Studies, Planning and Statistics Office (GEPE). The meeting was attended by the director of the office, Anadete Leonardo, flanked by technician Mário Silva Santos. The discussions revolved around cooperation.

 

The meeting highlighted the mutual commitment to strengthening cooperation between PASCAL and GEPE. One of the main points was the request for a document recording the historical impact of this partnership. In addition, the joint organization of a workshop to exchange experiences between the CTGOMs of Huambo’s municipalities was discussed, reinforcing decentralization and participatory governance in the region.

The initiative reflects PASCAL’s mission to promote a more efficient and inclusive local administration, creating spaces for the active participation and empowerment of communities.
