PASCAL 2024 results drive open dialog in Bailundo

Extraordinary session brings together local authorities and the community to take stock of the year and plan future actions.

In the municipality of Bailundo, PASCAL closed the year 2024 with an extraordinary session that brought together 70 participants, including representatives of the Municipal Administration, members of the CAC, and community leaders. The initiative was led by Focal Point Maria de Lassalete and Civil Society Assistant Alberto Mango, with the aim of presenting the project’s annual balance sheet and strengthening dialogue between civil society and the local administration.

The session was opened by the Deputy Administrator for the financial sector, who highlighted the importance of collaboration between PASCAL and local administrations. For nearly three hours, intense debates gave way to questions, constructive criticism and recommendations for strengthening the CAC’s actions and improving interaction between the administration and citizens.

This meeting reaffirms our commitment to promoting decentralization and citizen participation, paving the way for more inclusive and transparent governance.
